30 years of creativity. Countless lives changed.

2026 marks 30 years of Fabrica. For three decades, we’ve opened our doors in Brighton & Hove, championing the power of art to bring people together, spark ideas and change lives.

But Fabrica is more than a gallery. It’s a place to belong.

Across Sussex, we use creativity to help people build confidence, form meaningful connections and feel part of their community. From people living with dementia and those experiencing loneliness or poor mental health, to refugees and people seeking asylum, our programmes create welcoming spaces where everyone has the opportunity to express themselves, connect with others and feel valued.

Help us unlock £11,600 for Fabrica

We’re incredibly grateful to our supporters, who have already pledged £2,900 towards our Big Give Christmas Challenge, and to the Julia Rausing Trust, which has generously pledged a further £2,900 in match funding.

Now, we need your help to unlock it.

Our goal is to raise £5,800 in public donations during the Big Give Christmas Challenge, 1 - 8 December 2026. If we reach our target, we can unlock the £5,800 already pledged, raising a total of £11,600 to support Fabrica’s work.

Every donation will bring us closer to that goal, helping us reach more people through creativity and make a lasting difference in our community.

By supporting Fabrica through the Big Give Christmas Challenge, you’ll help us continue delivering creative programmes that make a real difference to people’s lives, including:

• Creativity and connection for people living with dementia - offering opportunities for self-expression, social connection and shared experiences.
• Support for mental wellbeing - bringing people together through creative activities that help tackle loneliness and build confidence.
• A sense of belonging for refugees and people seeking asylum - creating opportunities to connect, share experiences and take part in cultural life.
• Creative experiences for children and families - making art and culture accessible to more people, including during the school holidays.

Your support helps turn these opportunities into reality. It means art materials ready to be explored, a shared meal around a table, a conversation that builds a connection, or a creative moment that helps someone feel less alone.
